What are some ways to begin the changes toward a healthy lifestyle

During my weight lost journey and it’s success  the key tool was “PREPARATION” which will prevent you from eating the forbidden fast food. Keeping a journal no matter how good or how bad your intake of food happened in that day. The next helpful tip is to keep an active journal daily. A journal will allow you to see your weak areas and even provides you with a track record of events during both good and bad days. Any other suggestions please share.
